I know there are already lots and lots of HTML-tutorials available on the www, but because so many of you asked me to write one, I complied .

After reading these tutorials I hope you will be able to create a simple website. I do not intend to go into full detail, just the basics will be covered.

I do not have the pretension to call myself an expert. I certainly am not. There are still A LOT of things I do not know about. But I do believe I have a good knowledge of the basics. Good enough to maybe teach you guys something.
Know that I learned everything through tutorials combined with lots of practice. So don’t go thinking that by reading this you’ll become an expert instantly. This is only meant to get you started .

Why learn HTML

HTML is the source of all websites. If you want to start coding, then HTML is the first language you should learn.

Granted, there are a lot of editors out there that allow you to build websites without knowing anything about HTML, but if your aim is to create a website that is above average, then it is recommended you understand the hows
